Elevator Rehabilitation Project in Airport Metrorail Station

Customers who use the elevators within the Reagan National Airport Metrorail station should be aware of a long-term project that will affect elevator service to and from the rail platform. Elevator service will be maintained at most times, but customers should check Metro's website for elevator service advisories related to this project.

How to Meet a Passenger at the Gate

While only ticketed passengers are allowed beyond security, airlines may issue gate passes to non-ticketed visitors in special circumstances, such as when the ticketed traveler is a minor or has special needs. Please contact your airline directly well in advance of travel to determine if this option is available. All same-day gate pass requests are handled at the ticket counter at the discretion of the airline.

New Art on Display

"Color of Joy: An International Perspective" provided by Nia Tavlarides Stratos and Central Asian Art is on display until May 30, 2014. The exhibit features vibrant, abstract, collages, mixed-media and other artistic expressions. The colorful paintings of flowers, landscapes and geometric patterns is designed to draw travelers to the various color palates. The nearly 30 art pieces will be on display in Gallery Walk, located in the pedestrian walkway connecting to Terminal A.

Volunteer at Your Local Airports!
