**PASSENGER ALERT: Government Budget Cuts Could Impact Your Airport Travel Experience**
Mandatory federal budget cuts that began in March are beginning to impact some airport passengers. While the airport facilities continue to operate normally, we have been monitoring the TSA, FAA and CBP for specific effects of "sequestration" on passenger screening, air traffic control and customs processing. WMATA Escalator Maintenance
Metro is in the process of repairing/replacing escalators between the platform and the mezzanine levels on the north entrance of the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Metro Station. Passengers should proceed with caution, especially while carrying baggage, when traveling through Metro's maintenance area. Elevator service is available to and from the center of the rail station platform. Some checkpoints at Reagan National now feature an exclusive queue for "TSA Pre-Check" which is operated by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Here are ways you may be eligible to participate:- Certain airline's frequent flyers can log in to their airline's on-line profile to opt-in to "TSA Pre-Check." Check with your airline to confirm eligibility.
- Active Members of the U.S. Military can present their "CAC" card at the checkpoint for access to the faster "Pre-Check" screening lane. No special enrollment is required.
- Other passengers participating in Custom and Border Protection (CBP) "Global Entry" are also eligible. Simply enter your trusted traveler PASS ID information when booking airline travel. Click here to learn more and to apply.

Arts Program News
“AirCraft: Jets as Art” by American photographer Jeffrey Milstein, showcases large-scale images of aircraft taken moments before landing. It also features historic aviation pieces from the College Park Aviation Museum. This exhibit will run until December 8, 2013, in Gallery Walk in Reagan National Airport’s Terminal A. The Gallery Walk is located in Terminal A between the Historic Lobby and the present-day ticketing lobby.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Daily Garage B
Four electric vehicle charging stations installed in Daily Parking Garage B are open for FREE usage as part of a pilot program. Each charging station can accommodate two vehicles, for a total of eight parking spaces. The spaces are conveniently located near the Terminal B walkway and the shuttle bus stop serving all terminals. Click here for more details.
Volunteer at Your Local Airports!
There is a need for volunteers to work with Travelers Aid at Reagan National and Dulles International Airports. You can also choose to be a Mobile Guide, a service in which you scout for travelers with questions and assist them.
