Reagan National Airport
More Parking is Coming to Reagan National
Due to the high demand for parking at Reagan National, we are adding over 1400 spaces to the airport's existing parking garages by building an additional level. The project will be built in phases in order to minimize the temporary loss of parking space while construction is underway. This web page will be updated with new information as the project moves forward.

FIRST PHASE OF CONSTRUCTION IS UNDERWAY: A 162-space parking area (shown in yellow) is now closed so the first phase of the garage expansion can proceed. Parking will remain available outside the closed area and on the other levels of the Garage. The area will reopen when "Phase 1" construction is complete. A Satellite parking lot will be available for overflow parking if needed during the parking garage construction. |
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF RAMPS WITHIN THE GARAGE
The central ramps leading down from each level of Garage B/C to the exit are temporarily closed. Detour signage to an alternate exit ramp is posted within the garage. The ramps will be restored to normal traffic patterns on or about August 13.

Project Phases and Milestones
The project is now underway. Here is a description of the project's initial phases:
| |
Set up construction equipment near the parking garage. Vehicle traffic flow will be maintained but some lanes will be closed or realigned along the roadways adjacent to the garages. |
| |
Temporarily close 162 daily spaces on the top level (level 4) of Garage C and begin constructing Phase 1 of the parking expansion project in that area. |
