RFQI 1-08-C206: Architect / Engineering Design Services for COMIP, National and Dulles Airports - 25% LDBE
- Description: The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority plans to retain professional Architect / Engineer (A/E) services for an open end, task order type contract in support of the Capital Operating, Maintenance and Investment Program (COMIP), at Ronald Reagan Washington National and Washington Dulles International Airports.
- Issue Date: July 22, 2008

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority has recently issued Amendments for the following projects:

RFP 1-08-C190: Crushed Concrete Operations, Dulles Airport
- Description: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials to perform concrete crusing operations at Washington Dulles International Airport.
- Change: Amendment One was issued on July 18, 2008. The due date for proposals remains July 29, 2008.

RFQI 1-08-C171: Comprehensive Task Planning Consultant, National and Dulles Airports
- Description: The Consultant will provide on-call airport planning and programming studies for Washington Dulles International and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airports. Services are expected to cover a range of planning processes and technical subjects using a task order format.
- Change: The Request for Qualifications Information was revised on July 15, 2008. The due date for qualifications submittals remains July 25, 2008.

Upcoming Opportunities - Two Week Forecast

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority anticipates issuing the following contracting opportunities within the next two weeks:

RFP 1-08-C188: Oil / Water Separator Cleaning Services, Dulles Airport
- Description: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to clean and pump out oil water separators and dispose of liquids at Washington Dulles International Airport on a call order basis. Work may include corrective maintenance of separators.
- Estimated Issue Date: July 24, 2008

RFQI 1-08-C192: Task-Type Environmental Services, National and Dulles Airports
- Description: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision to provide professional environmental consulting services, to include (1) contaminated soil/water assessments, construction oversight services, underground/aboveground storage tank (UST/AST) management; (2) asbestos, PCB, lead-based paint, and other hazardous materials consulting services; and (3) miscellaneous environmental assessments/investigations and technical services as requested (air and water quality, wetlands, permitting, etc.) at Ronald Reagan Washington National and Washington Dulles International Airports on a task order basis.

RFP 1-08-C205: Airside Service Road Rehabilitation, Dulles Airport
- Description: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to replace the concrete road west and south of the Engineering & Maintenance Buioldings located inside the Airfield Operations Area (AOA) at Washington Dulles International Airport.
- Estimated Issue Date: July 28, 2008

RFP 1-08-C223: Interior Metal Surface Painting, National Airport
- Description: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to paint interior structural steel beams and columns, interior and exterior guard rails and posts, metal doors and frames, and interior information display supports in Terminal B/C at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
- Estimated Issue Date: July 30, 2008

RFP 1-08-C213: Replace Electrical Substation, Dulles Airport
- Description: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to replace the main medium voltage electrical substation serving Cargo Buildings 3 & 4 at Washington Dulles International Airport.
- Estimated Issue Date: August 1, 2008

RFP 4-08-C001: Luggage Cart Rental Service Concession, Dulles Airport
- Description: The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking proposals from all interested and qualified Offerors desiring to install, operate and manage a first class luggage cart rental service for domestic passengers and a free cart service to the Authority’s passengers in the United Airlines Federal Inspection Services (FIS) Facility and the International Arrivals Building (IAB) at Washington Dulles International Airport. The selected Offeror will be partially reimbursed for its labor and equipment services in the FIS and IAB.
